The Biggest Rivalries of the Canadiens

The Biggest  rivalry of the Canadiens

There's  about  two big rivalries in Montreal Canadiens history.

The Montreal vs Boston rivalry is one of the biggest rivalries in sports history. The rivalry is compared       tothe Boston Red Socks and New York Yankees rivalry and the L.A Lakers vs The Boston Celtics. The Canadiens faced the bruins a total of 717 times during the rivalry. The habs won 350 times and scored 2,185 goals. The Big Bad Bruins won  264 games and scored 1,909, in the rest of the games they've played  Everytime that they play echother its a big and intense game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajZIILhpU1g

The second big rivalry that the Canadiens have is the one with the Toronto Maple leafs. The French Canadien Club vs The english speaking club. This is one of the oldest rivalry is the history of the game. The only two Canadiens clubs in the Original Six. They've fought To see whos the best team. The Original Six started in 1924, there was the NHL 67 expansion draft. from 1944 to 1978 the two teams played echother 15 times 5 out of the 15 they were in the finals.  Heres a video about them when they played echother on febuary 9 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9SFgPqFMWI

Montreal Captain Captaincy

                                             Montreal Captain Captaincy

Montreal Canadiens not having captain is one of the dumbest thing that the organisation has ever done.

One of the greatest teams of all time doesn't have a captain is like river with out water. Last year they had the worst captains in the league Brian Gionta he shouldn't even been the captain. He didn't do anything for the team. He wasen't on the team for even a  year. They should have made him one of the  alternate captain but don't make the new guy a the captain.

The 4 alternate captains have the potential to be the captain. Tomas Plakanec has been there when he came to the team in 2003. Andrei Markov has been there since the 2000-2001 season. Max Pacioretty and Pernell Kark ''Pk'' Suban are the future of the Canadiens. A combined point of 380. So all I'm saying is that Montreal has  4 pontial captains they could all bring them a stanley cup.
